Conditions were excellent, if not quite perfect, for the 3rd running of our time trial at Seymour on Tuesday. It was warm with only negligible wind. We had a great turnout and virtually everyone improved upon their previous efforts. For the first time all riders broke the 20 mph barrier, so a really strong effort top to bottom. Eliana Brown improved by over 2 minutes to establish a new course record for the women. Way to go Eliana! Kelly Shimrin also topped 20 mph in her initial effort. Martin G. showed the way again and shaved 10 seconds from his previous time. Thanks to everyone who participated and thanks to Jim Lisy for running the show. Next time we’ll have an assortment of post-ride beverages to choose from.
CU then – July 29th.
