The 4th edition of the Seymour Time Trial Series brought some lightning fast times followed by thunderous skies. The air was calm, but warm and muggy, as three riders improved upon their PR, including Karl Crapse, Kelly Shimmin, and Greg Youngen. Greg sizzled to a new course record in the 'master category', lowering it to a formidable 26:04. Luke Taggart went retro, riding a classic French Peugot 10-speed, with matching pre-war helmet and still came home in 27:45. Four first-timers turned in strong efforts and fun was had by all. Thanks for coming out. CU August 12.Wednesday, July 30, 2008
